Weekly Residential Collection

All trash carts are company-owned and provided. Enjoy the consistency of flat-rate billing — no fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or hidden charges.

New Customer Setup Fee

**96-Gallon Cart**

Our standard service includes one large 96-gallon wheeled trash cart, serviced once per week. 

Compass Lite

**64-Gallon Cart**

Our lightweight, budget-friendly option designed for customers 65+. Trash must fit inside the cart; overflow incurs a $4 fee. Available in select areas.

Additional Trash Carts

$16

Applies to each additional cart, regardless of size (96 or 64-gallon). Great for households needing extra capacity. 

HOA/POA Pricing

Special pricing may be available for select communities.

When is pickup day and when will I receive a cart?

We provide service once per week. Your service address determines your pickup day. When your service is established, we will schedule delivery of your trash cart, typically within 1–3 days.

Terms of Service

Payment & Late Fees

  •  Payment is due on the 1st of each month.
     
  • A $10 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the 15th.
     
  • If paying by mail, please send your check early to ensure it arrives on time. Checks received after the 15th are considered late.
     
  • If your payment is late, your service will be placed on hold until payment is received.

Service Resumption

  •  If you are on the no-pickup list due to non-payment, you must pay before your pickup day to resume service that week.
     
  • If payment is made on your scheduled pickup day and you are already on the no-pickup list, service will resume the following week.
     
  • If you request service on your pickup day after being placed on the no-pickup list, a $20 fee applies to send a driver for a return pickup.

Preferred Payment Methods

  •  We recommend auto-draft for convenience.
     
  • If your auto-draft payment is declined, the first declined payment will be waived (no fee); however, a $10 processing fee will apply to any subsequent declines to cover third-party transaction costs.
     
  • We do not accept payments taped to trash carts or handed to drivers.
     
  • Payments are accepted by mail or online only.

Service Schedule

  • Trash service is provided once per week.
     
  • Your pickup day is based on your service address.

Pickup Day & Missed Pickup

  •  Customers have a designated pickup day, not a guaranteed pickup time. Route timing may vary.
     
  • If we miss your pickup, please contact us the next morning. We will return and service you the following day.

Trash Carts

  •  Trash carts are property of Compass Waste.
     
  • Carts must be placed by the curb for collection.
     
  • Billing continues as long as the cart remains at your property.
     
  • If you cancel service and haven’t paid for the current month, the cart must be empty for pickup.

Preparation for Pickup

  •  Our routes begin at 6:30 a.m.
     
  • Please place your cart out the night before, or no later than 6:30 a.m. on your pickup day.
     
  • If the cart is not at the curb when we arrive, service will resume the following week.
     
  • Need a return visit? We offer return pickups for a $20 upfront fee. Please call to request this.
     
  • If your cart is not out, our drivers will photograph the location and log it in your account.

Refunds

  •  We do not issue refunds for services already rendered.  

Conduct

  •  Please be kind — good manners go a long way.
     
  • We do not tolerate rudeness. Service may be terminated for violations of respectful conduct.

Agreement

  •  By submitting a request for service, you agree to Compass Waste’s Terms of Service. Please review these terms carefully.
